The guy I am dating still lives at home. He is 26. Suggestions?
Unless he’s taking care of an elderly relative or his no-rent living situation has a FINITE deadline and a legitimate reason, living at home at the age of 26 is a major red flag. If you are looking to him to take care of you, protect you and give you a secure life, this guy will not be able fulfill his manly duties if his mother is tucking you both in at night. It’s wonderful when a man takes his mother to Sunday brunch, visits her during the week or helps her move heavy items. But If he doesn’t have plans to move out, you may have to move on.
