That’s right the recently categorized alpha mom is according to a current Saks Fifth Avenue ad, “..that producer/director/mother/chauffeur/coach/gourmand/Jacqueline –of-all-trades” , who dresses more daringly and dynamic than her frumpy friends. But hey, she also has the confidence to pull it off. Hmmm – ring a bell?

Sheesh! The way you list the qualifications for “soccer mom” who would want that label? According to your quiz the alpha mom has it all and the soccer mom sounds like a pathetic, disheveled, stinky wreck. How is “drives a mini van” congruent with “feels her life has been hijacked and run into a train”, “Has a budget dictated by her husband” or “Often in need of hygiene or routine maintenance”? What is your point with this little “quiz”?

Yes, I have junk in the trunk (who wouldn’t after three children?) and I’m still capable of looking FABULOUS.
I drive a totally awesome black minivan, the purchase of which my husband had little say in (he would never admit it but I know he likes driving it on the weekends). I’ve driven both a minivan AND an SUV and know from experience minivans drive more smoothly and are more spacious and comfortable. Our minivan has heated leather seats and a dvd player.
And last, but certainly not least, I LOVE MY LIFE AND IT’S BALANCE
