Working the late shift at your job doesn't mean canceling that late dinner reservation with a new flame. These beauty tips will take you from 9 to 5 and back to 9 again.

As the days get shorter—and the night longer (yeah!) who wants to go home after work to get ready to go out for the night? Besides it being easier to just go from your office to whatever bar, restaurant, club, friend’s house (sure, that’s what they call them these days), it gives you more time out and less time to get stuck in front of the mirror trying on your whole closet before you realize it’s time to just hit the sack.

Your desk drawer should be big enough to hold your stapler, tape dispenser, paper clips and gum, and “I think everyone needs an on the go bag in their desk drawer too,” says celeb hairstylist, Billy Lowe, “it should include a small hair spray, mascara, gloss, and maybe one other styling or beauty product.” Some of his tips: Double your eye gels up with your concealers to create a smoother application and prevent creepiness, use your bronze colored lipsticks lightly across your cheeks or forehead to give a soft sun-kissed glow. Apply a light hold hairspray and scrunch through hair for an afternoon pick-me-up.  Also lift up sections around the crown and spray underneath to give lift and support for added volume. We say add the following to that drawer for a quick and easy getaway:

1. Get the oil out, the dirt off, and the shine matted:

2. Fall’s shoes are high, high, and even higher, you may not do much walking in them at work, but those babies can cause major blistering on the dance floor (or even just waiting in line to use the ladies room )and who wants to change into “sensible” shoes for a night out. Rub on some Band-Aid Blister Block(it’s a clear rub, not a blatant tan-colored bandage) in the areas you know rub the most and you should be sore-free.

3. Ok, the concept may be a bit strange, but honestly, how many of you shower just to re-do your hair? Here’s a way you don’t have to get all wet and spend hours drying. The pre-moistened cloths in No H20 wipe away oil and deposit a fresh smell—all in brush form.

4.
What’s the key wardrobe staple that’s easy to take from day to night? The little black dress. Great, but you need to re-apply deodorant and that white stuff you usually use wont cut it here. Degree Women Ultra Clear not only has good scents (it matters, you know!) but it really does go on clear.

5.
Nothing changes your office to party look like some shimmer.  Benefit Valley of the Stars has everything in it to give you that glowy, glam, out-on-the-town look.

6.
After sitting in front of a computer screen all day and hardly seeing any sun, your sallow skin needs a color boost. David Scott Cosmetics Tanning Toilettes work in a few hours (so you have to think a bit ahead with this one, but it’s worth it), made with green tea, they don’t have that overwhelming self-tan smell, and they are very easy to apply so you can do it right at your desk—your boss won’t have a clue. played hooky to go to the tanning salon.
