As the days get shorter—and the night longer (yeah!) who wants to go home after work to get ready to go out for the night? Besides it being easier to just go from your office to whatever bar, restaurant, club, friend’s house (sure, that’s what they call them these days), it gives you more time out and less time to get stuck in front of the mirror trying on your whole closet before you realize it’s time to just hit the sack. Your desk drawer should be big enough to hold your stapler, tape dispenser, paper clips and gum, and “I think everyone needs an on the go bag in their desk drawer too,” says celeb hairstylist, Billy Lowe, “it should include a small hair spray, mascara, gloss, and maybe one other styling or beauty product.” Some of his tips: Double your eye gels up with your concealers to create a smoother application and prevent creepiness, use your bronze colored lipsticks lightly across your cheeks or forehead to give a soft sun-kissed glow. Apply a light hold hairspray and scrunch through hair for an afternoon pick-me-up. Also lift up sections around the crown and spray underneath to give lift and support for added volume. 2. Fall’s shoes are high, high, and even higher, you may not do much walking in them at work, but those babies can cause major blistering on the dance floor (or even just waiting in line to use the ladies room )and who wants to change into “sensible” shoes for a night out. Rub on some Band-Aid Blister Block(it’s a clear rub, not a blatant tan-colored bandage) in the areas you know rub the most and you should be sore-free.
