Titus says you will be surprised that it’s not impossible to find great people whenever you live, despite the fact it may be freezing outside. Don’t plan on tucking yourself into bed early every night or curling up with a good book, waiting for the sun to come out again, instead post this list on your fridge and live by it.
1. Get out of the house, even if it’s cold, snowing or raining. No one likes to be cooped up, plus chances are you might find someone who has also ducked under an awning to stay dry.
2. Don’t under estimate the power of singles vacations. This is the place to find plenty of successful, good-looking, ambitious people who, like yourself, are not sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring.
3. Go everywhere you are invited. It doesn’t matter if it seems like the most boring event in the world. Even if it’s a networking event for all men or all women, chances are someone will have a single brother or sister.
4. Don’t let the winter blues allow you to get fat. The cold weather is not worth getting chummy over. This is the best time to get active because when you shed your clothes in May you will reveal an awesome body.
5. The best places I find single everyday: charity events, wine tastings, grocery stores and even restaurants. I can’t tell you how many people I have met while I am out with someone who overhears what I do. Again, get out of the house...it will be there when you get home.
6. Try to keep that glow, despite the fact there is little or no sun. So many ladies have told me that they feel with a little bronzer pick-me-up. It will make you look fresh, youthful and alive.
7. Make sure that whenever you leave the house, you are proud about how you look. Don’t wear something you would not want to be caught in by a potential partner.
8. Stop wasting your time on Mr. or Miss. Wrong. I don’t care how bored you are, how long you haven’t had sex or how long it’s been since someone took you out for a nights on the town. It;s better to be alone than lonely with someone.
