1. 105 Social
With two floors and six different rooms, there is something for everyone at 105 Social. The downstairs has a classic bar feel with a 40-foot bar, plasma TV screens, large wooden booths, DJ booth and dance floor [for the ladies]. The second floor of this Manayunk hotspot offers a sports room [for the boys] with a pool table and a bar room for socializing and a VIP lounge for bottle service. It’s definitely the place to socialize. Bring the girls out on a Thursday night, enjoy the tunes and see what boys are there enjoying your moves!
2. Rittenhouse Square
Looking forward to the sun? Well, then pick out your place on the lawn in Rittenhouse Square as soon as the first day of warm weather hits! This is a excellent place to find the boys on a lazy Sunday afternoon [especially since football season is over!] Grab a book at the Barnes and Noble on the corner and head over to that ever elusive green space. Located at the corner of 18th and Walnut Streets, it’s a must do once you see the first sign of spring.
3. Boat House Row
Don’t underestimate the power of a Sunday morning power walk when it comes to meeting a man. Running is great for burning calories, but walking will allow him to catch up with you on Kelly Drive. Even in the cold winter months, you can see plenty of single guys along Boat House Row. Located at Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, PA. (just west of the Museum of Art where the Rocky statue stands tall!)
4. Cuba Libre
Some like it hot! Do you? At Cuba Libre, the salsa is never mild, salsa dancing that is! This trendy restaurant converts into a salsa stage of sorts, and becomes the hottest place North of Havana. Don’t bring a partner, you will definitely find one here. The music and dancing start at 11:30pm on Friday and Saturday nights, so get ready to Mambo! Located at 10 S. 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA.
5. Continental Midtown
Still the same great food, but definitely a different crowd than the Continental Martini Bar located on S. 2nd Street; both are owned by Restaurateur Stephen Starr. Sunday brunch is always packed and the food is delish, but you may not make it if you spend Saturday night on the rooftop of this Philly hotspot lounging by the fireplace under the stars. Open year round. Located at 1801 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA.
6. Franklin Field
You know the guys can’t stay away from those football stadiums, even off-season, so Franklin Field is another must do when it comes to finding cute guys. Located 235 S. 33rd Street, this is where you will find hot, Ivy League alumni trying to keep their bodies as sharp as their minds. Take a Saturday morning to walk the track. It’s seriously one of Philly’s best keep secrets!
7. Old City Ironworks
It may have a tough, rough exterior, but that doesn’t stop nice guys from pumping iron or burning calories at Old City Ironworks. Best thing about it, you can get a birds eye of the whole place because cardio is located on the second floor overlooking the entire gym. During the summer months, be sure to wear something cute, as they open the garage doors at the front and you never know who may be walking by!
8. La Columbe
Like your latte foamy and served friendly? La Columbe in Manayunk is a great place to meet men on Saturday mornings. You can usually find them here taking a breather after biking up the Wall. 4360 Main Street, Philadelphia, PA.
