Sloan is a psychic medium, technically trained astrologer, and practicing metaphysician.

Why She’s An "It" Girl

A television personality and speaker, Sloan is a psychic medium, technically trained astrologer, and practicing metaphysician. As a mother of two young boys she has become quite skilled at blending a hectic homelife with a unique career path. By the age of 17, she was established as a professional psychic-medium and was reading for a large clientele, which included teachers, musicians, businessmen, actors, housewives, athletes, and anyone who needed help.

What Inspires Her?

My Two children Jason and Keith because they are amazingly wise creatures, who have taught me how to live life and accept love unconditionally.

Using my work to help street kids and those stuck in a negative mindset.

The beauty of hiking up to the 3,000 foot level of the Verdugo Mountain Range early in the morning. There, just ten minutes outside of Los Angeles, one can see mountain lions, tarantulas and bats. It absolutely thrills me to be able to connect to nature in this way.

Watching my husband continue to live his life with love, passion, kindness and trust in the experience, even after we buried his oldest son just after the birth of our youngest. He continues to inspire me.

Her "It" Girl picks:

"Rock en Roll" Hand bags come from hot new designer Allison Burns, an advant guard girl who designs elite bags with a flare for the wild rocker chic inside us all.

La Roche-Posay-Anthelios L: As a Canadian girl with delicate skin , I am always wanting to stop extra wrinkles, and more importantly skin cancer, so sunscreen is a must especially living in Los Angeles.

CoverFXSkin Care, a fabulous mineral based sheer fondation and powder. Covers all the lttle freckles.

Brenda Christian’s Universal Brow definer. This eyebrow pencil works with different skin tones to blend a natural looking brow color.

Lancome Miracle Forever is my new favorite scent.

Who does she consider an "It" Girl?

Both My Mothers: My birth Mother for giving me life and having the courage to give me up and my adopted mother, who taught me so many valuable lessons in life, none easy. She raised me and that took guts.

Aunt Betty, this was a woman who ran a group home, and took in runaway girls, my experience with her made me want to follow in her footsteps, she took the time to tell me that she believed in me. Some times that’s all it takes.

Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, M.D., a Swiss-born psychiatrist and the author of the groundbreaking book "On Death and Dying," which discusses out-of-body experiences and mediumistic attempts to contact the dead.
